Description
Duane Morris LLP seeks a talented mid-level associate to join its Antitrust Practice with substantial experience litigating antitrust cases or representing companies under investigation by the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division or the Federal Trade Commission. As a key member of our team, you will represent clients in complex antitrust litigation and before government agencies in merger and conduct investigations. Additionally, you will provide counseling on antitrust compliance in both merger and conduct matters. A strong candidate will possess familiarity with Section 1 and Section 2 theories of harm and merger analysis under Clayton Act Section 7; the ability to advise clients on a wide range of antitrust issues, including distribution practices, competitive collaborations, and non-compete arrangements; and developed litigation skills, such as deposition and drafting experience.
The ideal candidate has at least four years of substantive antitrust experience in a leading antitrust practice or at the DOJ or FTC. Strong writing and analytical skills, as well as litigation and advocacy skills, combined with deep knowledge of antitrust law and enforcement trends, are essential. Experience engaging directly with the FTC and DOJ is strongly preferred, as is the ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy and sound business judgment. The target annual pay range for this role is $280,000+. Actual pay will vary depending upon various factors, including relevant experience, skill-set, current business needs and market factors. The compensation range listed is just one component of Duane Morris' total comp package for employees, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and incentive packages and firm-sponsored benefit programs.
